The Tartan covered a CMU panel on ICE and student safety, where Frontline Dignity’s Jaime Martinez joined county and congressional representatives to discuss protecting Pittsburgh’s international student population.
“Any time a student gets detained, anytime a faculty member is at risk, anytime any student on campus or any person within the university community feels unsafe, that should be a signal to everybody that we can and should be doing more,” said Jaime Martinez, director of Frontline Dignity.
