Frontline Dignity was mentioned in the following 90.5 WESA article: “Allegheny County Council to consider bill barring ICE cooperation”
From the article:
[..]Officials with Frontline Dignity, a newly formed organization that provides rapid response to local ICE activity, called the legislation “an important and necessary step toward protecting immigrant communities.”
“This proposed ordinance affirms what Allegheny County already knows to be true: that dignity, safety, and fairness are not conditional,” said Jaime Martinez, the group’s executive director. “We hope this is one of many meaningful steps our officials take in visibly and genuinely using their political capital for the good of all their constituents.”
At the same time, added communications director Staysi Rosario, “this alone is not a sufficient response to the scale of harm we are seeing. … Local non-cooperation policies, while essential, do not stop federal agents from carrying out raids, surveillance, or the use of force.” She urged elected officials to publicly oppose the raids and “[use] their platforms to demand federal accountability.”
